Delete your Slate account

You can delete your Slate account and its data at any time. There are two ways.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

Open Slate and sign in.
Go to Settings.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

Option 2 — By email (if you can't use the app)

Email slate@bractstudio.com from the email address on your Slate account, with the subject "Delete my Slate account". Include your Slate username if you know it.

We may reply to confirm the request comes from you. We delete the account within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

What is deleted

Your account, email address and sign-in details
Your profile: display name, username, bio, profile photo and social links
All setups you published or saved as drafts, with their screenshots and uploaded files
Your comments, likes, saves, follows and blocks
Your notification tokens

What is kept, and for how long

Backups may hold copies for up to 30 days, then they expire.
Purchase records for Slate Pro are kept by Google Play, and subscription records by RevenueCat, as needed for billing, tax and refunds.

Have Slate Pro? Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it first in the Play Store → Payments & subscriptions.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. More detail in our Privacy Policy.
